One thing I love about fashion weeks, and I am sure so do you, is that they provide us with incredibly valuable information on the hottest trends and most stylish outfits of the coming seasons. It is always nice to browse through the images of the runway shows, enjoying beautiful creations of the experienced designers. Or, on the contrary, marking particular clothing pieces as the hugest mistakes of the fashion world. But there is also another side of the fashion show. The numerous guests who are super lucky to attend such events sometimes look even more fabulous and saucy than those striding down the catwalk. This is also a great advantage of any fashion week. Let's have a look at the best off-stage outfits of New York Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Week.
New York Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Week: Off-Stage Inspiration
Kerry Washington wowed in a super elegant dress. This is one of my favorite fits - an off-shoulder shift dress. The delicate and simple silhouette stresses Kerry's slender body. I love the desert sand color that offsets her tanned skin. To complete the look, she added a pair of nude scarpins and minaudiere in gold.
Chiarra Ferragni presented a more trendy look. The fashion blogger donned a floral mini with an asymmetrical hemline, which she paired with a silk black shirt featuring a gorgeous rose. Black chain bag in quilted leather, a tiny locket and a wide-brimmed hat accessorized the outfit. The blonde beauty opted for black ankle booties that perfectly go with the whole ensemble.
Another blogger, Jasmine seems to be a big fan of black. She rocked a vintage strapless top tucked into the flary pants with gold embellishments. To style her look, the brunette added a pair of cool sunglasses by Ralph Lauren, Christian Louboutin pumps and a polka-dotted pouch by Comme Des Garçons.
Eleonora Carisi looked totally amazing! She sported Tory Burch dress in lemon chiffon and a dodger blue leather jacket with studs by Roberto Cavalli. What I loved the most about her outfit is a pair of absolutely striking yellow shoes by Greymer Shoes. An elegant Porche & Chanel bag in mint and black completed the look.
Mara Ferreira offered a variation of smart casual style, which I, personally, adore a lot. A deep blue blazer by Alice + Olivia is paired with a cream blouse featuring black edge lines. Tufs blue pants by J.Crewlook look awesome with an elegant leopard belt and 3.1 Phillip Lim brown bag. And, of course, this look wouldn't get so much appraisements if it wasn't for Manolo Blahnik pumps in nude that the blogger donned.
Miroslava Duma, the Russian fashion icon, looks magnificent regardless of what she wears. This time was not an exception. This sleeveless mini frock in slate gray with white specks forming a beautiful design stresses her slim and toned legs. Black heels in suede perfectly complement the look and along with the bomber that she carries in her hand create quite an edgy impession. I like the way she did her hair - effortlessly and cool.
Here is a fan of a monochrome trend. A beautiful show attendee rocked a silk shirt in black with oversized shoulders, which is paired with high-waisted white pants. I would expect here a pair of sky-scraping heels, but no - metallic gladiators look pretty flat. And this is what makes this look so unique. I like the massive necklace as well as the saucy sunglasses and this red and black handbag.
I hope you enjoyed these stylish looks from New York Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Week. Use them as a source of inspiration and come up with your own ones!
