Alexa Chung is probably the most renowned UK fashion blogger of these days. Being a fashion model and a TV presenter, Alexa also works as a contributing editor to British Vogue.
Alexa became popular due to her unique taste and ability to mix and match different pieces in a chic and yet effortless way. Being an embodiment of a true British street fashion, Alexa Chung demonstrates striking looks in which she blends high fashion garments with the items by affordable brands and finds at the flea markets.
Born on November 5, 1983, Chung, who also has Chinese roots as her father, a graphic designer, was half Chinese, was raised in Privett, Hampshire. At the age of 16 she signed a contract with the UK-based modeling agency Storm instead of entering the King’s College London and Chelsea College of Art and Design.

Alexa spent four years modeling before she decided to quit in order to continue her education. She was featured in the ad campaigns for the popular brands Fanta, Sony Ericsson, Tampax and Sunsilk.
However she went the distinct way. In 2006 started her TV career as she became a presenter on Channel 4 and made her appearances in the row of shows including Vanity Lair, Big Brother’s Bit Mouth, Popworld, 8 out of 10 Cats, Gok’s Fashion Fix and Frock Me. Besides she co-hosted several music specials and T4 film. In 2009 Alexa became a presenter of It’s On with Alexa Chung on MTV USA.
After she began dating Arctic Monkeys' frontman Alex Turner in July 2007, Alexa starred in the music video for the Turner’s song
My Mistakes Were Made For You. In 2008, being a recognizable person, Chung got back to modeling and she was featured in ad campaigns for Antipodium and Oxfam Revamped. A year later Alexa became the face of New Look and DKNY Jeans. In 2010 she was spotted in the Pepe Jeans London ad campaign.

In 2009 Alexa made her designing debut as Mulberry fashion brand launched its Alexa bag, which became a must-have in the wardrobes of the famous socialites including Olivia Palermo and Alexa Chung herself. The satchel style bag was available in a myriad of colors and materials. One of her latest efforts was teaming up with the Japan-based clothing brand FRAY I.D to create its Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
After gaining some writing experience for the Independent in 2008-2009, Chung became a Vogue UK contributing editor starting from June 2009. At the same time Alexa was engaged with describing her daily fashion and style picks in the online Vogue.
