Jane Aldridge
Here is one more blogger you should know - Jane Aldridge. This bright (in all senses) lady took my heart from the very first sight. For one thing I love unique and peculiar styles, when people wear what they find to be stylish instead of those cliche clothes. Also, her blog speaks to me a lot. The very name of her project hypnotizes and charms: Sea of Shoes. What would your reaction be if your spotted something like that while surfing Internet? I bet you would not hesitate a single second and follow the hyperlink right away. So did I and look what I found - an impeccable style and lots of cool outfits!
Awesome Looks of Jane Aldridge
Jane Aldridge has an awesome shade of hair. I can't help looking back at her photos and pretend myself to walk around with the same color. My mom would be shocked, if this is a word to fully describe her reaction. I don't usually like the way the red-head ladies look like, but this case is an absolute exception. Jane rocks, by all means!I think it's a great reference to have whenever you're looking at your closet, thinking, "I have all these great clothes, but nothing to wear!" I think it's great to have something to reference when you're stumped for ideas. You can find a look that you like, and then fill it in with what you've already got in your wardrobe. The book's great because it gives you perspective on what you actually already have.Jane started her blog quite early - at the age of 15. Back then, in April 2007, the blog was rather a hobby than a serious venture, as the girl was busy with her SAT exams. Jane is originally from Trophy Club, Texas, where she lives according to a quite steady schedule. You might wonder why she called her blog this way - however it seems to be pretty obvious. The beauty owns ninety (!) pairs of shoes, all of which are incredible. She s a big fan of such brands as Prada, Comme des Garcons, Marni, Givenchy, Dries van Noten, and Margiela. She received her first pair of high-end designer shoes at the age of 15, and guess what it was? Prada sandals made the teenager extremely happy - and could it be any different?
I've always been obsessed with jewelry — and I get that from my mom. She has this encyclopedic knowledge of all these really amazing seventies jewelry designers. I love how weird some of those pieces are, and how they're so completely different from the jewelry that's out there now. I feel like much of the jewelry being made today is really cheap and trinket-y, with not a lot of heft. I like things that are really heavy, really ornate and over-the-top. I love them simply as objects, and appreciate their history.Jane seems to be a very artistic lady, as she adores pieces of such artists as Egon Schiele, de Kooning, Basquiat and Yoshimoto Nara. She is super talented indeed, since she is running another blog - They Don't Call Them Lovers in High School Leeland. Besides, she has teamed up with the famous brand Urban Outfitters to come up with Sea of Shoes by Jane for Outfitters line. Sounds like an impressive achievement, taking into account her young age. Jane Aldridge has a very engaging style and appearance, which both help her to successfully run the blog. Her website is very popular among the fashionistas around the world - no wonder, the beauty works really hard on it. Take a look at the images below and see whether her fashion speaks to you.
